Honda Fit in Autotrader’s List of ’10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers’

Autotrader recognized the current generation Fit (2015-2019) as one of the “10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers.” The Fit was the only subcompact car to be named on the list.

One of the defining features of the Fit is the second row Magic Seat. The Magic Seat, with its four distinct modes, allows the Honda Fit to offer incredible versatility in a small package. Utility Mode gives the Fit 52.7 cubic feet of maximum cargo room with the Magic Seat completely folded down¹, which is plenty of room for a dog to stretch out. Long Mode allows the Fit to haul cargo up to 7 feet, 9 inches long with the rear right seat and front passenger seat folded down¹. In Tall Mode, the Fit’s rear row can hold cargo nearly four feet tall with the Magic Seat folded up¹. Finally, with Refresh Mode, the front seats can be folded back to provide lounge seating with the front head restraints removed², allowing dog lovers room to comfortably relax with their pet.
