Rhubarb Days in Downtown Sumner

As the self-proclaimed “Rhubarb Pie Capital of the World,” Sumner offers some great local events to celebrate the infamous red vegetable. The 8th annual Rhubarb Days festival will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2018 and Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. Downtown Sumner will host many family-friendly activities for the whole community to enjoy, including a rhubarb bake-off, pie eating contest, live music performances, and much more.

Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place winners in each category, including cakes, bars, pies, cobblers and crisps, breads, jams and jellies, cookies, and beverages.
