2024 Honda Prologue Will Feature Wireless Connectivity and Intuitive Technology

The next generation of Honda is almost here! Coming soon to Rairdon’s Honda of Sumner, the 2024 Honda Prologue is the all-new, all-electric SUV that represents the future of Honda. It’s rugged and capable with a fully electric drivetrain ready to take you on your next adventure. Although we don’t have all the details yet, Honda recently announced exciting new features that keep you connected on the road.  What do we know about the Prologue’s connectivity so far? Google Built-In, Smartphone Compatibility, and More

First debuted in the 2023 Honda Accord Touring hybrid, the Prologue will be the first Honda SUV to include Google built-in. The wireless feature adds next-level convenience to your drive with Google Play. Plan your route, find the nearest charging station, and prepare your EV battery for fast charging with Google Maps. The app can estimate your arrival time to the next charging station and start preconditioning the battery to cut down on charge times and get you back on the road in less time.

With Google built-in, you can also install your favorite apps right in your SUV, like YouTube Music, Google Play Books, Spotify, and anything else you need to make your ride more enjoyable. Access everything with voice controls to keep your hands on your wheel and eyes on the road. Your Prologue will come with certain Google apps installed, but you can easily download anything available on Google Play. Connect your current Google account to access your contacts, music, and more. Just pair with Bluetooth to reply to a message or send a text hands-free.

Google built-in comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, seamlessly integrated with the 11.3-inch touchscreen display. Honda’s first smartphone charging pad will keep you powered up without the need for wires, and you can be sure your Prologue has the latest software with over-the-air updates. That’s in addition to the tech-filled cabin that includes an 11-inch driver information display and available head-up display. Honda is excited to include built-in features that can’t be found in other vehicles to offer more convenience for their customers.
