Sport-L Hybrid Joins the CR-V Lineup

There’s a new addition to the Honda CR-V family: the Sport-L trim joins the current hybrid-electric models as its newest trim. After a complete redesign in 2023, the 2024 CR-V Sport-L expands the best-selling Honda SUV to include new and exciting trim ideal for new drivers, young families, and those seeking the latest technology and comfort features. As brand-new CR-V models head our way, we’re taking a look at the newest Sport-L Hybrid trim to give our customers an idea of what to expect.

What’s included in the new Honda CR-V Sport-L Hybrid?

Like other CR-V hybrid models, the Sport-L comes equipped with a hybrid electric powertrain consisting of an In-Line 4-Cylinder Engine and Twin-Motor Hybrid System. Combined, the hybrid system achieves 204 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque, making for a fun drive. Two-wheel drive is standard, earning a combined 34 MPG, while an upgrade to the Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System will get a combined 32 MPG. Honda Sensing Safety & Driver Assist Technologies also come standard, including a suite of features to keep you safer and more aware on the road.

The Sport-L trim stands out with exterior features like Berlina Black 18-inch wheels, gloss black accents, and dual chrome rectangular exhaust finishers. Its roomy interior features seating for five with leather-trimmed seats with orange stitching throughout, a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and 4-way power adjustable passenger seat. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knobs add a touch of class with an automatic-dimming rearview mirror bringing the convenience. A power programmable tailgate with adjustable height gives access to up to 76.5 cubic feet of cargo space, and a One-Touch Power Moonroof brings the outside in.

A 9-inch touchscreen now includes a physical volume knob to help you keep your eyes on the road while streaming your wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto tunes. There’s a Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging pad to keep the music going, even on long road trips, and the 8-speaker audio system will keep your music, podcasts, or audiobooks sounding their best.
